انگل­ها و کرم­های گوارشی یکی از دلایل اصلی کاهش تولید اقتصادی گوسفندان می‌باشند. پژوهش حاضر به ­منظور بررسی چندشکلی­ های
ریز ماهواره­ های اینترون 5 ژن
DRB2 و ارتباط آن با تعداد تخم انگل مارشالاژیا­ مارشالی در گوسفند نژاد قزل انجام گرفت.از 80 رأس بره نر 4 تا 6 ماهه خون‌گیری صورت گرفت و نمونه‌های مدفوع از رکتوم بره ­ها جمع‌آوری و شمارش تعداد تخم انگل به روش کلیتون لین انجام شد. استخراج DNA به روش کلروفرم-ایزوآمیل الکل انجام و ناحیه ریز ماهواره­ای اینترون 5 ژن DRB2 تکثیر گردید. محصولات حاصل از PCR روی ژل آگارز 3 درصد الکتروفورز شدند و اندازه آلل­ ها با نشانگر اندازه M25 و نرم‌افزار UVidoc مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفت. با استفاده از رویه­ی مختلط، اثر ژنوتیپ روی صفت مورد نظر توسط
نرم ­افزار
SAS بررسی گردید. آنالیز آماری ارتباط معنی­ داری را بین صفت تعداد تخم انگل مارشالاژیا­ مارشالی با چندشکلی ژن DRB2 نشان داد، به ­طوری­که بره‌های دارای ژنوتیپ­ های 288-278 و 288-288 در ناحیه اینترون 5 ژن DRB2 به­ طورمعنی ­داری (01/0>P) تعداد تخم انگل کمتری نسبت به
بره ­های دیگر داشتند. به­ عنوان نتیجه، چندشکلی ژنتیکی در این جایگاه می­ تواند به‌عنوان یک ابزار مفید در برنامه­ های انتخاب بر اساس نشانگرها مورد استفاده قرار گیرد.
