به منظور بررسی تزریق ژل ­رویال بر ویژگی­ های تولید مثلی مرغ ­های مولد­ بومی مازندران، پژوهشی در قالب طرح کاملاً تصادفی با چهار تیمار (صفر، نیم، یک و یک و نیم میلی گرم در کیلوگرم وزن بدن)، سه تکرار و ده قطعه مرغ در هر تکرار انجام شد. تفاوت معنی ­داری در نرخ جوجه ­درآوری، در بین تیمارهای ژل­ رویال و گروه شاهد مشاهده نشد (0/05<p). غلظت­های تری گلیسرید و VLDL در تیمار نیم و یک میلی­ گرم ژل­ رویال نسبت به تیمارهای یک­ و نیم میلی­ گرم ژل­ رویال و شاهد افزایش معنی­ داری داشت (0/05>p). وزن بدن در تیمار یک میلی­ گرم ژل­ رویال نسبت به تیمار شاهد افزایش معنی­ داری نشان دادند (0/05>p). وزن تخم ­مرغ ­های جمع ­آوری شده در هفته پس از تزریق ژل­ رویال، در تیمار یک میلی ­گرم ژل ­رویال نسبت به تیمارهای شاهد و نیم میلی­ گرم افزایش معنی­ داری داشت (0/05>p). پهنای تخم­مرغ در تیمار نیم میلی­گرم ژل­ رویال نسبت به تیمار شاهد در هفته اول تزریق و همچنین در تیمار یک­ و نیم میلی­ گرم ژل­ رویال نسبت به تیمارهای شاهد و نیم میلی­گرم ژل­ رویال در هفته دوم تزریق، افزایش معنی­ داری داشت (0/05>p). شاخص شکل تخم در تیمار نیم میلی ­گرم نسبت به تیمارهای یک­ و نیم میلی­ گرم ژل­رویال و گروه شاهد به طور معنی ­داری افزایش یافت (0/05 >p). با توجه به نتایج، تزریق ژل رویال می­تواند بر ویژگی­ های تخم مرغ تاثیر بگذارد. برای نتیجه­ گیری بهتر لازم است که سطوح بیشتر از ژل رویال و همچنین افزایش مدت تزریق در نظر گرفته شود.
