     هدف از این پژوهش بررسی استفاده از سطوح مختلف باقلا بر خصوصیات فیزیکی بیضه و ویژگی ­های کمی و کیفی اسپرماتوزوئید اپیدیدیمی قوچ نژاد زل بود. شانزده راس قوچ در حال رشد با وزن تقریبی 1±29 کیلوگرم انتخاب و به طور تصادفی در 4 تیمار و 4 تکرار در قالب طرح کاملا تصادفی به مدت 75 روز نگهداری شدند. تیمارهای آزمایشی با چهار سطح مختلف باقلا (صفر، پنج درصد، 10 درصد و 15 درصد) بودند. پس از دوره 75 روزه، قوچ­ ها کشتار شده و طول، عرض، قطر و وزن بیضه  ­ها اندازه ­گیری شد. نتایج حاصله نشان داد که سطوح مختلف باقلا سبب اختلاف معنی­ دار درصد اسپرماتوزوئیدها با حرکت پیش­رونده و درصد اسپرماتوزوئید متحرک در درصدهای 5 تا 15 نسبت به تیمار شاهد شد (5% >p). درصد اسپرماتوزوئید غیرطبیعی در تیمار 15 درصد باقلا بیشترین مقدار را به خود نسبت داد. افزودن باقلا به جیره منجر به افزایش درصد اسپرماتوزوئید زنده و کاهش اسپرماتوزویید­های مرده نسبت به تیمار شاهد شد (5% >p). افزودن باقلا به جیره ­های آزمایشی نتوانست بر وزن، قطر، عرض و طول بیضه، همچنین غلظت اسپرماتوزوئید و سلامت غشای پلاسمایی اسپرماتوزویید تاثیر معنی­ دار داشته باشد. با توجه به نتایج به­ دست آمده در این پژوهش سطح 5% و 10% باقلا در جیره توانست ویژگی­ های کمی و کیفی اسپرماتوزوئیدها را بهبود بخشد.
