این آزمایش به­ منظور مقایسه اسیدیفایر تولیدی (بر پایه اسیدسیتریک) با نمونه تجاری در جیره‌ جوجه‏ های گوشتی بر عملکرد، متابولیت‏ های خونی، ریخت‌شناسی و pH روده باریک جوجه‌های گوشتی طراحی شد. در این آزمایش از 400 قطعه جوجه گوشتی یک­روزه سویه راس در قالب یک طرح کاملاً تصادفی با 5 تیمار، 4 تکرار و 20 قطعه جوجه به ­ازاء هر تکرار استفاده شد. تیمارهای آزمایشی شامل تیمار شاهد بر پایه­ ی ذرت- سویا و تیمارهای آزمایشی شامل جیره شاهد به اضافه 0/50 ، 1 و 1/5% اسیدیفایر تولیدی و 1% اسیدیفایر تجاری به­ همراه کریر در خوراک بود. نتایج نشان داد خوراک مصرفی در جیره ‏های حاوی 1 و 1/5% اسیدیفایر تولیدی به ­طور معنی‏ داری در مقایسه باشاهد در دوره آغازین افزایش یافت (0/05>p).اسیدیفایر 0/5% باعث بهبود در وزن و ضریب تبدیل غذایی در مقایسه با شاهد در دوره آغازین و کل دوره شد (0/05>p). استفاده از ا% اسیدیفایر تولیدی منجر به کاهش وزن جوجه­ های گوشتی و افزایش ضریب تبدیل غذایی در دوره آغازین و کل دوره در مقایسه با شاهد شد (0/05>p). در حالی­که اسیدیفایر تجاری باعث بهبود عملکرد در دوره رشد و کل دوره در مقایسه با شاهد شد (0/05>p). سطح 1/5 % اسیدیفایر تولیدی منجر به افزایش ضریب تبدیل غذایی در دوره آغازین در مقایسه با شاهد شد (0/05>p). HDL سرم در جیره‏ های حاوی اسیدیفایر اختلاف معنی‏ داری با جیره شاهد نداشت ولی کمترین میزان LDL در جیره حاوی 0/5% اسیدیفایر مشاهده شد (0/05>P). کاهش در فعالیت آلکالین‌فسفاتاز سرم در جیره‏ های حاوی 1/5 و 1% اسیدیفایر‏های تولیدی و تجاری مشاهده شد (0/05>p). pH دستگاه گوارش در دودنوم و ژژونوم در 28 و 42 روزگی در جیره ‏های حاوی اسیدیفایر در مقایسه با شاهد تحت­ تاثیر قرار نگرفت. جیره ‏های حاوی اسیدیفایر منجر به بهبود خصوصیات ریخت‌شناسی روده شدند (0/5>p). با توجه به نتایج به­دست آمده سطح 0/5 درصد اسیدیفایر در خوراک جهت بهبود عملکرد و اثر مثبت بر متابولیت‌های سرم خون جوجه‌های گوشتی توصیه می‌شود.
