این مطالعه با هدف ارزیابی تاثیر سطوح مختلف نانو ذرات کورکومین بر شاخص ­های کیفیت تخممرغ، فراسنجه ­های بیوشیمیایی خون، پارامترهای ایمنی و همچنین قابلیت هضم آن در مرغ­ های تخم ­گذار انجام شد. تعداد 160 قطعه مرغ تخم­ گذار سویه ­های- لاین با سن 60 هفتگی در قالب طرح کاملا تصادفی شامل چهار تیمار، چهار تکرار و هر تکرار حاوی ده پرنده مورد استفاده قرار گرفت. تیمار­های مورد استفاده در این آزمایش شامل سطوح مختلف نانو ذرات کورکومین (صفر، 400، 800 و 1200 میلی­گرم در کیلوگرم جیره) بود که از طریق جیره غذایی در اختیار پرندگان قرار گرفت. صفات کمی و کیفی تخممرغ هر دو هفته یکبار ارزیابی شدند. بررسی فراسنجه­ های بیوشیمیایی سرم در میان و پایان دوره آزمایش انجام گرفت و در هفته ششم آزمایش گلبول قرمز گوسفندی تزریق شد و سپس در هفته ­های، هفتم و هشتم آزمایش فاکتورهای ایمونولوژی سرم مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفت. افزودن سطوح مختلف نانوذره کورکومین اثر معنی­داری بر ضخامت پوسته نداشت، اما در هفته ­های انتهایی آزمایش بر شاخص رنگ زرده اثر معنی­ داری نشان داد (05/0>p). در بررسی فرآسنجه­ های بیوشیمایی سرم در میان دوره، غلظت آنزیم­ های آلانین آمینو ترانسفراز (ALT) و آسپارتات آمینو ترانسفراز (ASTبه طور معنی­ داری تحت تاثیر نانوذره کورکومین قرار گرفت (05/0>p)، اما در پایان دوره آزمایش غلظت کلسترول، LDL و HDL و نسبت بین این دو تحت تاثیر مصرف دوزهای نانوذره کورکومین قرار گرفت (05/0>p). سطح 400 میلی­ گرم نانوذره کورکومین بیشترین تیتر آنتی ­بادی را نسبت به تیمار شاهد نشان داد (05/0>p). سطوح 400 و 800 میلی­ گرم نانوذره بیشترین میزان هضم و جذب کورکومین را نشان دادند (05/0>p). نانوذره کورکومین در دوز­های کم (400 میلی­گرم) اثرات مثبت و پایداری در پایان دوره آزمایش بر فراسنجه ­های بیوشیمیایی، ایمنولوژی سرم، قابلیت هضم کورکومین و همچنین بر رنگ زرده تخممرغ داشت.
