این تحقیق به­ منظور بررسی خصوصیات فیزیکی و شیمیایی لاشه بزغاله‌های نر پرواری با استفاده از نسبت­ های مختلف انرژی قابل متابولیسم انجام شد. از 36 رأس بزغاله نر سیاه لری (بومی) بعد از شیرگیری (چهار ماهگی) با میانگین وزن شروع پروار 25 کیلوگرم در جایگاه بسته با سه جیره‌ متفاوت به ترتیب حاوی 2، 4/2و 8/2 مگاکالری در کیلوگرم انرژی قابل متابولیسم و14 درصد پروتئین خام استفاده شد. در پایان آزمایش از هر تیمار شش رأس بز ذبح و پس از تفکیک و تجزیه فیزیکی لاشه‌ها، ترکیب شیمیایی آن‌ها نیز تعیین گردید. اطلاعات بدست آمده در قالب طرح کاملاً تصادفی با نرم‌افزار SAS و رویه GLM تجزیه و تحلیل و برای مقایسه میانگین‌ها از آزمون چند دامنه­ ای دانکن استفاده شد. نتایج نشان داد که مناسب ترین بازده لاشه 5/46 درصد و وزن بدن خالی 91 درصد در جیره حاوی 8/2 انرژی متابولیسمی مشاهده شد (05/0>p). بیشترین درصد قطعات با ارزش لاشه شامل سردست، ران و راسته به ترتیب 2/23، 5/28 و 9/20 درصد با مصرف 8/2 مگاکالری در کیلوگرم انرژی قابل متابولیسم بدست آمد (05/0>p). بالاترین درصد گوشت بدست آمده از قطعات ران و راسته به ترتیب 5/74 و 1/57 درصد و حداکثر سطح مقطع ماهیچه راسته و طول آن نیز در جیره با مصرف انرژی قابل متابولیسم 8/2 مگاکالری بر کیلوگرم ماده خشک حاصل شد (05/0>p). بیشترین درصد پروتئین لاشه در جیره یک با مقدار 7/22 درصد و کمترین در جیره دو با مقدار 1/21 درصد مشاهده و تفاوت بین درصد پروتئین جیره 1 و 2 معنی‌دار بود (05/0>p). به طور کلی با توجه به نتایج این آزمایش می ­توان گفت جیره با انرژی متابولیسمی 8/2 مگاکالری در بین جیره­ های مذکور موجب عملکرد بهتر خصوصیات فیزیکی و شیمیایی لاشه شده و برای دوره پروار 90 روزه و بلافاصله پس از شیرگیری بزغاله‌ها مناسب تر است.
