هدف از این مطالعه بررسی تاثیر اسانس مرزه و فلاوومایسین بر عملکرد، کیفیت لاشه، پارامترهای ایمنی و هماتولوژی جوجه‏ های گوشتی بود. در این تحقیق تعداد 400 قطعه جوجه جنس نر سویه تجاری راس 308، در قالب طرح آزمایشی کاملاً تصادفی با پنج تیمار و چهار تکرار و 20 قطعه جوجه گوشتی در هر واحد آزمایش مورد استفاده قرار گرفت. تیمارهای آزمایشی شامل جیره شاهد (فاقد اسانس مرزه و آنتی‏بیوتیک فلاوومایسین)، جیره حاوی آنتی‏بیوتیک فلاوومایسین 6/0 درصد و سطوح متفاوت اسانس مرزه (200 ، 400 و 600 میلی‏گرم در کیلوگرم خوراک) بود. نتایج نشان داد افزودن اسانس مرزه در مقایسه با فلاوومایسین به جیره جوجه‏ های گوشتی در هفته‏ های اول و پنجم پرورش باعث کاهش معنی‏ دار مصرف خوراک و ضریب تبدیل غذایی شد و در هفته نخست باعث بهبود معنی‌دار افزایش وزن در مقایسه با گروه شاهد شد (05/0p<). تاثیر اسانس مرزه و آنتی ‏بیوتیک فلاوومایسین بر افزایش وزن بدن و ضریب تبدیل غذایی جوجه‏ های گوشتی در کل دوره معنی‏ دار نبود. بین تیمارهای آزمایشی به لحاظ میزان آب مصرفی در کل دوره پرورش تفاوت معنی‌داری وجود داشت، جوجه‏ های تغذیه شده با جیره حاوی 200 و 400 میلی‏ گرم در کیلوگرم اسانس مرزه به ترتیب بیشترین و کمترین مصرف آب را داشتند (05/0p<). تاثیر اسانس مرزه و فلاوومایسین بر کیفیت لاشه، فرآسنجههای خونی، پارامترهای ایمنی و کیفیت گوشت سینه معنیدار نبود. با توجه به یافته ‏های تحقیق حاضر می‏توان بیان نمود که آنتی‏ بیوتیک فلاوومایسین و اسانس مرزه تاثیر معنی‏ داری در جهت بهبود شاخص‏ های تولید، پارامتر‏های ایمنی و کیفیت لاشه جوجه‏ های گوشتی ندارند.
