چکیده مبسوط
مقدمه و هدف: استفاده از دانه کتان به عنوان یک منبع مکمل انرژی می‌تواند رشد بره‌ها را تحت تاثیر قرار دهد. این مطالعه با هدف بررسی اثر تغذیه سطوح صفر، 8 و 15 درصد دانه کامل و آسیاب شده کتان بر عملکرد، گوارش‌پذیری مواد مغذی، فراسنجه‌های خونی و تولید پروتئین میکروبی بره‌های کبوده شیرازی انجام شد.
مواد و روش‌ها: بهمدت 74 روز تعداد 30 راس بره نر (سن 4±60 روزگی و وزن 2/5±23/7 کیلو‌‌گرم) در قالب طرح کاملاً تصادفی به 5 گروه آزمایشی و 6 تکرار اختصاص یافت.
یافته‌ها: افزودن دانه کتان (کامل و آسیاب شده) بر عملکرد بره‌ها و گوارش‌پذیری مواد مغذی در کل دستگاه گوارش، تاثیر معنی‌داری نداشت، اما گوارش‌پذیری چربی‌خام در تیمار‌‌های حاوی دانه کتان نسبت به تیمار شاهد به‌طور معنی‌داری بهبود یافت (p=0.001). بره‌های دریافت­‌کننده دانه کتان افزایش معنی‌داری در غلظت تری‌گلیسرید (p=0.03) و کلسترول (p=0.04) سرم نسبت به گروه شاهد داشتند. سطح و شکل فیزیکی دانه کتان تاثیری بر غلظت گلوکز و آلبومین بره‌ها نداشت. مشتقات پورینی، ازت میکروبی و تولید پروتئین میکروبی نیز تحت تاثیر تیمار‌های آزمایشی قرار نگرفت.
نتیجه‌گیری: سطح و شکل فیزیکی دانه کتان بر بهبود گوارش‌پذیری چربی خام و افزایش تری‌گلیسرید و کلسترول خون موثر بود.
