   کیفیت تخم ‌مرغ یکی از عوامل موفقیت اقتصادی در گله­ های مرغ تخم­گذار است، به‌طوری ‌که علاوه بر نقش در فرآیند جوجه ­درآوری، در بازارپسندی محصول نیز دخیل است. با توجه به تعداد کم رکوردهای مربوط به صفات کیفیت تخم ‌‌مرغ، یکی از راهکارها در برآورد فراسنجه­ های فنوتیپی و ژنتیکی، انجام تجزیه و تحلیل‌های چندصفته می‌باشد. این مطالعه با هدف برآورد فراسنجه‌های فنوتیپی و ژنتیکی صفات کیفیت تخم­ در مرغان بومی آذربایجان انجام شد. برای این منظور تعداد  2000 عدد تخم­ مرغ از مرغان شجره ­دار مربوط به نسل‌های چهاردهم و پانزدهم مرکز اصلاح نژاد مرغ بومی آذربایجان غربی تهیه و صفات کیفیت خارجی و داخلی تخم در آزمایشگاه اندازه‌گیری شدند. فراسنجه­ های فنوتیپی و ژنتیکی صفات کیفیت تخم ‌مرغ با استفاده از تجزیه و تحلیل چند­ صفتی با نرم­ افزارهای SAS و WOMBAT انجام گرفت. اثرات نسل-نوبت جوجه‌کشی و مدت زمان نگهداری تخم ‌مرغ در یخچال، اثر معنی‌داری بر صفات کیفیت تخم داشتند. میانگین صفات شامل وزن تخم­ مرغ 3/94± 55/306 گرم، شاخص شکل تخم‌مرغ  2/9±75/192، درصد پوسته 0/73± 3/389 درصد، درصد سفیده 2/49± 60/160 درصد، درصد زرده 2/35± 30/466 درصد، شاخص زرده 3/13 ±35/928 و pH زرده 0/13± 6/442 بود. بیشترین پراکندگی مربوط به صفت ارتفاع اتاقک هوایی با ضریب تغییرات 16/947 درصد و کمترین آن در صفت pH سفیده با ضریب تغییرات 1/366 درصد بود. بیشترین همبستگی فنوتیپی مثبت بین وزن و حجم تخم­مرغ برابر با 0/644، کمترین همبستگی فنوتیپی مثبت بین pH سفیده و وزن زرده برابر با 004/0 بود. بیشترین همبستگی ژنتیکی مثبت بین وزن و سطح تخم‌ مرغ و همچنین بین سطح و حجم تخم­ مرغ (به ­میزان 0/999)، بیشترین همبستگی ژنتیکی منفی بین درصد سفیده و نسبت زرده به سفیده (به میزان 0/994-)، کمترین همبستگی ژنتیکی مثبت بین شاخص زرده و وزن زرده (به ­میزان 0/002)، کمترین همبستگی ژنتیکی منفی بین شاخص زرده و ماده خشک زرده (به­ میزان 005/0-) برآورد شد. وراثت­پذیری برآورد شده برای صفات مورد مطالعه در دامنه 0/015 (pH سفیده) تا 0/212 (درصد سفیده) قرار داشت. به­ طور کلی نتایج حاکی از آن است که صفات مرتبط با کیفیت تخم در مرغان بومی آذربایجان همبستگی فنوتیپی و ژنتیکی نسبتاً بالایی دارند که می‌توان به­منظور کم کردن هزینه‌های رکوردبرداری تعداد صفات مورد نظر برای رکوردبرداری را کاهش داد. همچنین وراثت‌ پذیری صفات کیفیت تخم ‌مرغ در حد پایین تا متوسط قرار دارد که نشان‌ دهندۀ میزان پیشرفت کم در موقع انتخاب مستقیم است.
