   استفاده از برنامه‌های تغذیه‌ای و هورمونی یکی از راه­کار‌های مهم برای بهبود عملکرد تولید مثلی در بز می‌باشد. لذا تحقیق حاضر به­ منظور بررسی تأثیر استفاده همزمان دانه جو و گونادوترپین جفت اسب‌ سانان (eCG)1 بر عملکرد تولید مثلی بز در شرایط پرورش عشایری انجام شد. تعداد 60 رأس بز 3-2 ساله، در فصل تولید مثلی و 60 رأس بز 4-3 ساله، در فصل غیر تولید مثلی انتخاب شدند. سپس بزها در هر آزمایش به­ صورت مجزا، به شش گروه 10 رأسی، تقسیم شدند؛ 1- گروه شاهد (بدون دریافت دانه جو و eCG)؛ 2- گروه دریافت‌ کننده‌ی 400 گرم جو برای هشت روز (کوتاه‌مدت)؛ 3- گروه دریافت ‌کننده‌ی 400 گرم جو برای 16 روز (بلندمدت)؛ 4- گروه دریافت ‌کننده‌ی 400 واحد eCG؛ 5- گروه دریافت‌ کننده‌ی 400 واحد eCG و 400 گرم جو برای هشت روز؛ 6- گروه دریافت‌ کننده‌ی 400 واحد eCG و 400 گرم جو برای 16 روز. نتایج در فصل تولید مثلی نشان ­داد که نرخ دوقلوزایی در گروه‌های دریافت­ کننده دانه جو به­ صورت کوتاه و بلند مدت همراه با eCG نسبت به گروه‌هایی که eCG دریافت نکردند بالاتر بود (05/0>p). در همین راستا کمترین تعداد بزغاله متولد شده ( 5 رأس) در گروه شاهد و بیشترین تعداد (20 رأس) در گروه ششم مشاهده شد. نتایج همچنین نشان­ داد که در فصل غیر تولید مثلی هیچ ­کدام از فراسنجه‌های مورد بررسی از نظر آماری تحت تأثیر تیمارها قرار نگرفتند. می‌توان چنین نتیجه‌گیری کرد که استفاده از 400 واحد بین‌المللی eCG و روزانه 400 گرم دانه جو در فصل تولید مثلی سبب بهبود نرخ دوقلوزایی در بزها شد ولی چنین تأثیری در فصل غیر تولید مثلی مشاهده نشد.
